ACCOMMODATIONS

How many guest rooms are at The Harpeth Hotel?

The Harpeth has 119 elegantly appointed guest rooms featuring one king or two queen size beds. Within the guest rooms, we have a variety of suites to choose from depending on your length of stay and the occasion.

What kind of suites does The Harpeth have?

We have 3 different suites for your consideration for your stay with us at The Harpeth. The following is a description of our suites and you can view photographs in our gallery.

King Bed Corner Junior Suite with Balcony
In this corner suite-like room, guests can take in the fresh southern air on their step-out balcony with seating for two views of Historic Franklin. An exquisitely appointed guest room featuring one king-sized bed with a couch and a working desk. This suite does have a large soaking tub.

King Junior Suite with Juliet Balconies
In this suite, guests can take in the fresh southern air on their dual Juliet balconies with views of our tranquil courtyard. This exquisitely appointed guest suite features one king bedroom with a corner couch. In the adjacent living room is a seating area for families with a sofa bed and chair with an ottoman. For the business traveler, the suite includes extra space for meetings or entertaining. This suite does not have a large soaking tub.

Presidential Suite
In this one-bedroom suite, guests can enjoy views of our tranquil courtyard. There is extra space for entertaining and a large oversized bathroom to decompress from a long day of exploring. The suite does have a grand shower and a large soaking tub with an additional half bath in the living room portion.

Do your rooms have balconies?

Yes, several of our rooms do have balconies overlooking 2nd Avenue, Main Street, and the courtyard. When selecting your room during the reservation process, the balcony options will be specified.

What amenities are provided in the guest rooms and suites?

Our rooms have modern comforts that you would expect including 55” LCD televisions, in-room Keurig coffee makers, Wi-Fi, flexible workspace, Frette robes, slippers, steamers, drawer safe, hairdryer, and lit makeup mirrors.

Do your rooms have shower or bathtubs?

Our guest rooms mainly consist of walk-in showers with a small ledge/step into the shower. Our King Corner Junior Suites, Queen Corner Rooms, and Presidential Suites do have large soaking tubs. In addition, some of our ADA rooms have accessible tubs, which are not soaking tubs.

Do your rooms have safes?

Yes, the guest rooms do have safes. They are drawer safes for which you create your own security code. The safes are approximately 12" x 14" — large enough to accommodate numerous electronic devices.

What kind of pillows are in your guest rooms?

Our pillows are made of a down feather mix. If you are allergic to feathers, please contact an Ambassador at 615-206-7510 and we can arrange for foam pillows in your guest room prior to your arrival at The Harpeth.

Do your guest rooms have microwaves or refrigerators?

Yes all of our rooms have refrigerators in them. Microwaves are available upon arrival or prior to arrival with our Ambassadors and they will arrange it for you.

Do you have connecting rooms?

Yes, we have a variety of room types that connect to each other although no suites connect to another room. This is based on availability and is not guaranteed.

Do you have rooms that are accessible?

Yes, we have a variety of rooms based on your needs for accessibility including roll-in showers, hearing impaired, and accessible tubs.

Is The Harpeth pet friendly?

Yes, we welcome your entire family including your pets. Your $125 non-refundable deposit includes a welcome treat bag, use of water/food bowls, and a bed if needed.

Do you provide contactless check-in?

Yes, you can check-in with the Honors App using the Digital Key. Honors Membership are complimentary, and you can sign-up on Hilton.com.

I did not receive my confirmation email for my stay. What should I do?

Please contact The Harpeth Ambassador at 615-206-7510 and they can verify your upcoming stay with us and confirm your email address. If you are an Honors Member, you may look at your upcoming stay and see your future reservations.

Do you have onsite parking?

Yes, our valet parking is $45 plus taxes per day with in and out privileges through the day.

Do your guest rooms have work desks?

Our guest rooms are set-up with a flexible workspace which you can utilize for meals and work. Our suites have desks for individuals that desire a dedicated space.

Are cribs, pack-n-plays or roll-a-ways available?

Yes, they are available. Please call one of our Ambassadors at 615-206-7510 to make arrangements to have one placed in your room prior to arrival.

DINING

Does The Harpeth have restaurants onsite?

Yes, we have multiple dining options. We have McGavock's Coffee Bar & Provisions, which is a café that offers an all-day brunch experience. Guests can join us in the mornings for breakfast with our homemade pastries or our gourmet salads and sandwiches in the afternoon. In addition, the café has an outdoor patio for social distancing with heaters.

For the evenings, we offer our 1799 Kitchen & Cocktails restaurant which showcases seasonal American cuisine designed for the guests to enjoy on any occasion. The menu consists of signature appetizers, main plates, and ingredients that are sourced locally by farmers and ranchers to support the local community.

Do the restaurants have a dress code?

Neither restaurant has a dress code, although 1799 Kitchen & Cocktails is more of a fine dining experience (no jacket required).

Do I need reservations for either of the restaurants?

No reservations are needed at McGavock's. Guests are free to come in and out throughout the day and enjoy a meal or to order a beverage from our barista.

At 1799 Kitchen & Cocktails, we encourage reservations prior to arrival. For parties of more than 10 guests, please call in advance to possibly arrange for our private dining room within the restaurant. Please reach out to our hostess to make your reservations at 615-786-0829 or reserve your table online.

Where can I see the menu for 1799 Kitchen and Cocktails?

You are able to visit the menus for 1799 Kitchen & Cocktails at this link. Please note that if you have dietary restrictions call to make reservations at 615-786-0829 and we will be happy to make arrangements for your dinner.

Does the menu offer gluten-free and vegetarian options?

Yes, our Chef offers a menu that is advantageous to all guests.

Do either of the restaurants have outdoor dining options?

Yes, we have outdoor seating and dining options in both McGavock’s Coffee Bar & Provisions and 1799 Kitchen and Cocktails. Please call in advance for a reservation for outdoors in 1799 Kitchen & Cocktails.

Do you have a kids menu in 1799 Kitchen and Cocktails?

Yes, we do offer an enhanced kids menu which is a version of the 1799 Kitchen & Cocktails menu but designed for a younger palate.

Do you offer room service?

Yes, we offer a limited menu of both our menus. Room service hours are from 7 am - 10 pm.

Does The Harpeth have a bar or lounge?

Yes, we do have a bar located within 1799 Kitchen and Cocktails. The bar offers an extensive wine list featuring over 100 labels, crafted cocktails, and local beers from breweries within Nashville. The bar opens at 3 pm daily and closes anywhere from 11 pm - midnight.

Are there restaurants within walking distance of The Harpeth?

Yes, there is a great variety of one-of-a-kind restaurants featuring varying price points within walking distance of the hotel. If you are wanting to experience fine dining, pizzerias, cafés, and ice cream parlors, it is a short walk. Go to www.visitfranklin.com for a listing of local restaurants.

SHOPPING

Do you have a gift shop on-property?

Crockett's is our on-site gift shop where you can buy the essentials that you possibly forgot at home, a last-minute gift pick-up, and amenities that are in your guest rooms that you may want to indulge in.

Is there shopping near The Harpeth?

Yes, we are located in the center of Historic Franklin where you can wander through a number of local boutiques including antique shops, one-of-a-kind restaurants, and entertainment including the restored Franklin Theatre.

Is there anything to do locally with my family?

Yes, Historic Franklin is host to many Main Street festivals including the Spring Festival in April, Fourth of July Celebration, Pumpkin Fest in October, and Dickens of Christmas. TRANSPORTATION

How close is The Harpeth from downtown Nashville, TN?

We are in the heart of Historic Franklin, 18 miles south of downtown Nashville which is approximately 40 – 50 minutes depending on the time of day.

How close is The Harpeth from the Nashville International Airport?

We are 23 miles from the Nashville International Airport (Code: BNA). The Nashville International Airport offers many direct flights to major cities including London.

How do I get to The Harpeth from the Nashville International Airport?

The Harpeth is located right off Hwy 65. Depending on the direction headed, please follow the directions below:

Traveling South on I-65
Take exit 68B for Cool Springs Blvd. Merge right onto Cool Springs Blvd West. Follow for 1.5 miles. Turn right onto Mack Hatcher Memorial Parkway. Turn left onto Franklin Road. Franklin Road becomes East Main Street. Turned right on 2nd Avenue North. The Harpeth is on the right.

Traveling North on I-65:
Take exit 65 for Murfreesboro Road/TN-96. Turn left on Murfreesboro Rd/TN-96 and follow until Traffic Circle in Downtown Franklin. Take 1st exit right (East Main Street). Turn left at 2nd Avenue North. The Harpeth is on the right.

Do you have onsite parking?

Yes, our valet parking is $45 plus taxes per day with in and out privileges through the day. There is no affiliated self parking option for the hotel.

Does The Harpeth offer electric vehicle charging stations?

Yes, we do have access to a vehicle charging station. Please contact our Ambassadors at 615-206-7510 to make arrangements.

How much should transportation generally cost for rideshare/taxi from the airport?

Typically, these costs may vary depending on the time of year, number of guests in the vehicle, and distance. For rideshare (Uber/Lyft), you should anticipate spending $50-$60 one way + gratuity. For a taxi, you should anticipate spending $80 one way + gratuity.

Is there a rental car facility near The Harpeth?

Yes, Enterprise Rent-A-Car is within a two-mile radius of The Harpeth. The address is 1900 Columbia Avenue, Franklin, TN 37064 and the phone number is 615-794-1000.

Is The Harpeth located within Historic Franklin?

Yes, we're in the heart of Historic Franklin, within steps of boutiques, antique stores, one-of-a-kind restaurants and, nightlife.

Does The Harpeth have gift certificates/gift cards?

Yes, you can purchase certificates and gift cards in person through one of our Ambassadors at the front reception. Additionally, you can purchase gift cards for our two restaurants, McGavock’s Coffee Bar and Provisions and 1799 Kitchen & Cocktails.

Is The Harpeth pet friendly?

Yes, we welcome your entire family including your pets. Your $125 non-refundable deposit includes a welcome treat bag, use of water/food bowls, and a bed if needed.

Who do I call for lost and found?

The Harpeth Ambassadors can reach out to our in-house team to do a search for any lost items that may be missing. An inquiry can also be submitted online. We keep all lost and found items for 30 days and then donate to a local charity.

Does the hotel allow smoking on the premises?

No, we are a 100% smoke-free hotel and environment including our guest rooms, courtyard, and outdoor patios. There is a $300 recovery charged non-compliance.

What are your check-in and check-out times?

Our check-in time is 4 pm and check-out is 12 pm. We certainly will do our best to provide early check-ins and late departures although this is based on availability and not guaranteed.

May I store my luggage before check-in and after check-out?

Yes, we do have luggage storage available for guests prior to check-in and afterwards at no additional charge so you to get take advantage of all there is to do in Historic Franklin.

May I pay extra for a late check-out or early check-in?

Yes, late check-out and early check-in are based on availability and additional fees may apply.

Is there a cost for Wi-Fi?

Yes, our wireless internet is $9.95 per day, per room plus 9.75% sales tax. If you are an Honors Member this is included in your membership.

Does The Harpeth have a business center?

Yes, our Ambassadors at the reception area are pleased to assist you with any copies, faxes, or printing of documents including boarding passes during your stay. Fees may be associated based on your requests.

Who do I contact for reservation and billing questions?

May I send packages in advance to my stay at The Harpeth?

Yes, you may send packages in advance to The Harpeth at 130 2nd Avenue North, Franklin, TN 37064. Attention: Guest name and arrival date.

What is The Harpeth cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy is 48 hours in advance prior to arrival unless specified differently on your reservation.

How can I modify my reservation?

Please call The Harpeth at 615-206-7510 and speak with an Ambassador. If you are an Honors Member you can modify your room reservation online.

Can I provide a different credit card at check-in than the one I used to make the reservation?

Yes, you may change the form of payment at the time of check-in with one of our Ambassadors. Also, you may change the form of payment at check-out.

Will there be a hold placed on funds if I use a debit card for my stay?

Yes, we place a hold for the room and tax + $200 per day for incidentals. It can take 7–10 business days upon departure for the authorization to be returned to your bank account.

What is the minimum age for guests to stay at The Harpeth?

The minimum age for a guest to check-in to The Harpeth is 21-years-old.

Do children stay free?

Yes, children do stay free up to age 18.

Does The Harpeth have a fitness center?

Yes, our fitness center is located on the 2nd Floor of the guest rooms and 24-hour room key access. Fitness equipment includes free weights, treadmills, yoga mats, Peloton bikes, Hydrow rower, bicycles, and weightlifting machines.

Does The Harpeth have jogging paths near The Harpeth?

Yes, we have jogging paths around Historic Franklin. In addition, we have Pinkerton Park and Harlinsdale Park that have jogging paths for the dedicated runner. Bicentennial Park has a greenway and an overlook of the Harpeth River, making it a great place to see the natural beauty of Franklin.

Does The Harpeth have a pool?

No, there is no outdoor or indoor pool at The Harpeth.

BUSINESS

Are there meeting facilities onsite at The Harpeth?

Yes, we have our Riverside Ballroom which is 2580 square feet and is located right off the main lobby. Also, we have two boardrooms that can accommodate a maximum of 15 guests in each boardroom. All our meeting rooms are located on the main lobby level with natural light and no obstructions. If you would like additional information, please contact sales@harpethhotel.com.

What size groups can you accommodate at The Harpeth?

We can accommodate any size group from 2 guests to 150 depending on the setup requirements, type of event that you are hosting, and specifications required.

Is there a virtual tour of The Harpeth available?

Yes, there is and please contact sales@harpethhotel.com to walk through the space. Or if you’d like to do the tour at your pace, then "Self-Walk."

Can I bring my own audiovisual to my meeting at The Harpeth?

Yes, we do allow this although we have and can provide the services onsite to make your meeting seamless with our preferred in-house audiovisual provider. We are capable of having virtual meetings, including full recordings of the meeting, and are happy to provide an estimate. If you determine that you would prefer to utilize your audiovisual team there may be a minimal fee accessed.

Can I bring in my own food and beverage to my meeting room?

No, we do not allow for outside food and beverage. The only exception is the wedding and groom’s cake at a wedding reception. You can have a bakery bring in a cake from an outside vendor when it is arranged prior to the day of the wedding.

Does The Harpeth offer business rates or negotiated room rates?

Yes, we do offer discounted room rates for businesses and would be pleased to discuss further based on the number of rooms needed and frequency. Please email sales@harpethhotel.com for additional information.

Does The Harpeth offer extended stay room rates?

Yes, we do offer discounted room rates for an extended stay, which is typically anything above 14+ nights. Please reach out directly to sales@harpethhotel.com for the time period you are requesting.

How close is The Harpeth from the Cool Springs business district?

We are a short distance to Cool Springs business district along Carothers Street. It is approximately 4 miles away, which is typically a 10-minute drive.

MEDIA

Do you allow photo and video shoots at The Harpeth?

Yes, however all filming and photography requests must be approved by the Public Relations department and supervised by a hotel PR representative. This includes all public areas and guest rooms. Working media is advised to please contact the Public Relations Department in advance of their stay to require clearance of professional photo/video equipment via sales@harpethhotel.com. You may also download a copy of our photo policy.

Do you allow family photos or headshots to be done at The Harpeth?

Yes, although this is also based on availability at The Harpeth. Please contact sales@harpethhotel.com for availability.

Who do I contact if I'm an influencer and want to partner with The Harpeth?

ENTERTAINMENT

Does The Harpeth have any entertainment available?

On the weekends, we often have a locally talented person playing the piano and/or guitar. This is not always guaranteed so please visit our Happenings page or follow us on Facebook and Instagram to see the evenings that we are having live music.

Are there local entertainment venues within walking distance of The Harpeth?

Yes, the Franklin Theatre is within short walking distance down Main Street. In addition to playing movies, the Franklin Theatre is also a concert venue. Being that we are located within Historic Franklin, there is a good chance that musicians will be playing music along the sidewalks or in front of the courthouse.
