Please join featured artist, Lorrie Fowler, in the Lobby. Lorrie is a Nashville-based painter, specializing in large abstract statement pieces that captivate viewers with their unique movement, texture, and detail. She creates works of art by combining the fluid motion of paints with gravity, air pressure, and a bit of fire. This January, Lorrie will inspire the Franklin Art Crawl audience with fluid abstract paintings from her “Breaking Ground” series.
This series’ colors and gold leaf details nod to the natural beauty of Tennessee and the coast and are inspired by the scripture Hosea 10:12. Based on Lorrie’s own experiences, this series tells a story of the journey and beauty of life, allowing her heart to be softened to believe that God is trustworthy and kinder than she ever imagined. Her desire is that this series will be encouraging and inspirational to its viewers.
Along with painting, Lorrie loves to share her passion of fluid painting through teaching throughout the Nashville area. She wants everyone to know that they are designed to be creative and fluid art is a great way to tap into that creativity!
